Tuesday, July 12

Vesper Services & Awards Ceremony

7:00 PM - The Vesper Services opening Philipsburg Heritage Days 2016 at the First Lutheran Church. During the services Philipsburg Heritage Days Community Awards will be presented.

Vesper Services is presented by the Philipsburg Ministerium and sponsored by CNB Bank. Music will be provided by the Valley Voices.

Community Awards are sponsored by Blaise Alexander Chevrolet Buick of Philipsburg.

 

Wednesday, July 13

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM - The Great Bug-tacular Game Show featuring Adam Swartz Puppets. Sponsored by CenClear, Pennsylvania Council On The Arts and Pennsylvania Partners In The Arts: Project Stream. Location: Trinity United Methodist Church.

4:00 PM - The Blooming Onions (Acoustic). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

5:30 PM - "Shrek - The Musical" songs presentation by Student Youth Theatre of YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Stage.

6:30 PM - Accafellow (Barbershop Quartet). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Stage.

6:30 PM - Dance Recital by Shaw and Ghaner. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers.

7:00 PM - Watermelon Eating Contest sponsored by Hi-Way Pizza. Registration at 7:00 PM, contest at 7:30 PM. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers. Sponsored by Hi-Way Pizza.

8:00 PM - The Rattlers (50s, 60s and 70s). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

 

Thursday, July 14

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

4:00 PM - Zumba demonstration by YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

5:00 PM - Mutual Friends (Youth Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:30 PM - Adam Becker & John Cimino (Acoustic Duo). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:30 PM - Restless Renegades. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers.

7:00 PM - Valley Voices concert. Location:Trinity United Methodist Church.

8:00 PM - Thrive (Classic Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

 

Friday, July 15

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Flower Show at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

10:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

10:00 AM - 9:00 PM - Mobile Millennium Carillon will be playing on Front Street. Sponsored by Brian Michaels of New Vibrations Audio and Video.

4:00 PM - Chandler & Dani (Acoustic). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage

5:00 PM - Not Ashamed (Christian Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:30 PM - Rick Chew & Temptation Alley (Acouistic). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:15 PM - Jazzercise. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers.

8:00 PM - Randy Clark & Rusty Spurs (Country). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

 

Saturday, July 16

Healthy Heros 5K - Race organized by the Moshannon Valley EMS.

2:00 PM - Grand Parade. Fire company equipment judging will take place at the P-O High School from 10 AM to Noon.

5:00 PM - Drum and Bugle Corps Presentation. Sponsored by Gio's Woodland Food & Fuel, Lee Industries, Inc., Clearfield Hospital, Charles Navasky & Company, and Stiffler, McGraw and Associates, Inc., DixonCom, LLC. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers.

 

Sunday, July 17

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Car Show. Car Show sponsored by Alan Anderson of Alan Anderson Nationwide Insurance.

3:00 PM - Cowchip Bingo hosted by the Student Youth Theatre, YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch. Location: P-O football field.
